Celebrating with HERSHEY’S- Halloween Craft

I have been thinking of a fun craft to make with the kids for Halloween using yummy HERSHEY’s candy. I want the craft to be something that the kids are going to do primarily on their own that they will be able to take pride in. so we made candy wreaths to decorate for Halloween.

I got everything we needed from Walmart including our HERSHEY’S candy.

First we twisted ribbon around the wreath’s the kids got to choose the ribbon they wanted we used 7/8″ ribbon.

We then used cupcake liners to glue place holders for the candy. The kids then got to put the candy they liked in each cupcake liner.

Mikey’s finished product!

Perfect for whoever comes knocking. They can grab a treat and go!

Kaia twisting her ribbon around a styrofoam wreath

All done we used hot glue to secure the ends

attaching the cupcake lines. I had Kaia use a styrofoam tower to push down on the liners since the hot glue was hot I did not want her little fingers to get burned.

Once the liners were all in place she chose the candy she wanted I added a drop of glue and she placed the candy where she wanted it to go

All done! These crafts were especially popular at our Halloween playdate. At the end all the kids got to pick a candy off the wreath! All the kids were thrilled and Kaia and Mikey were so excited to have made something so beautiful and tastey!
