Read for the Record Day – Thursday, October 6 (All day)
Join us as we partner with Jumpstart for our 3rd annual Read for the Record event! This year’s book, Llama Llama Red Pajama, visits a topic that all grown-ups can relate to: nighttime blues. When baby llama goes to bed and mama leaves him alone, he wants her to come back. When he calls for her and she doesn’t come, he wonders where she has gone; a feeling that many children have at the end of the night. The activities hosted at the museum this day will help grown-ups and children alike work through their fears in a fun way! So don your red pajamas and help us raise our numbers as we Read for the Record http://www.readfortherecord.org/pledge
