Food Should Taste Good, that is a statement I definitely agree with. But really who wouldn’t. I am sure there is not one person out there who would say differently, yet there are definitely some foods that let’s face it are not the yummiest. Whether it be because we are dieting or what have you, I think we convince ourselves that it’s okay because we need to lose the weight or whatever other rationalization we can conjure up. Well let me tell you something Food Should Taste Good! And Food Should Taste Good Chip/ crackers do taste good. They are an excellent occasional snack we have all been enjoying in our house. The kids love the Sweet Potato chips, I have been enjoying the Works and Chocolate Chips. I know Chocolate may sound a bit odd but I assure you its really good. It is not a strong chocolate taste but its there and its delicious. Mike really likes the Cheddar and Corn Chips he has been taking them to work with him for his lunch. As either part of a packed lunch or an afterschool, after work snack these chip/ crackers are super yummy and I love that the ingredients are actually ones you can understand and that they are wholesome and healthier.

I love food. I’ve been working in restaurants and grocery stores my whole life, and if I’ve learned anything, it’s that food tastes best when it’s made with real ingredients. Artichoke Spinach Dip

Yield: About 4 ½ cupsServes: 6-8 people
10 oz pkg. chopped frozen spinach, thawed and drained (squeeze extra liquid out) 2, 14 oz cans marinated artichoke hearts, drained and roughly chopped
2 pounds cream cheese softened
1 teaspoon Tabasco®
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
½ cup grated mozzarella cheese
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Combine spinach, artichokes, cream cheese, Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce and mix with an electric mixer on low speed until thoroughly combined, 1-2 minutes. Add parmesan and mozzarella and mix until combined. Spoon into a ceramic dish and bake for 15-20 minutes, stirring once, until bubbly and begins to brown. Fresh Fruit Salsa

ield: 5 CupsServes approximately 8-10 people
3 large tomatoes, stemmed and diced small
1 medium red onion, diced small
1 mango, diced small
½ pineapple, diced small
1 ½ jalapeños, seeds removed, diced small
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 bunch cilantro leaves, chopped
3 limes, juiced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon kosher salt
Combine tomato, onion, mango, pineapple, jalapeño, garlic and cilantro in a bowl. Add lime juice, olive oil and salt and toss to combine. Serve with Food Should Taste Good® Sweet Potato, Yellow Corn or Multigrain chips.

Hummus
Yield: 4 CupsServes approximately 8 people
2, 15.5 oz cans chick peas, drained
½ cup tahini, normally in the natural section
5 cloves garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon paprika
½ cup extra virgin olive oil
4 lemons, juiced
2 teaspoons salt
Place chick peas, tahini, garlic, cumin and paprika in a food processor and pulse to combine. Turn food processor on high and drizzle in olive oil, once incorporated add lemon juice. Process until smooth. Season to taste and serve with Food Should Taste Good® Multigrain, The Works!, Blue Corn or Olive chips.
