Giant Bug Sand Table


We filled our sand table with our Giant Bugs and a few clay pots from our garden to create hidey holes and caves for our bugs.

We also used the pots for scooping and burying the bugs

This table turned out to be a blast

Even though it was relatively simple with all the flying crawling and jumping bugs the table was constantly moving and shifting

The sand was being moved by bug and by garden pot

The bugs were sometimes at war with each other and sometime at peace working together to create a mound or tunnel

Next time I think I might add the smaller “baby” bugs to the table to see if the big bugs become proud parents or maybe a bit hungry…
