Googly Eyes Discovery Bottle

Only use Gatorade or G2 bottles for the sensory bottles they are a heavier plastic so they hold up better and keep a unison look so everything looks good. They come in different sizes you can find smaller ones for small hands if you need to.

Make sure to ALWAYS seal your bottles securely! I cannot emphasize this enough. Unless you want your bottle opened and the contents poured out. SEAL IT… with glue. Duct tape can be peeled off by a determined kiddo. Glue is much harder for them to open up.

Googly Eyes Bottle
1/4 full of corn syrup, shampoo, or hair gel, 8 or more googly eyes. This is another totally awesome bottle. I like it best with clear hair gel and I put a ton of different size eyes I love it. My picture is not the best it is so much better in person.

  1. I was a little unsure about this one, but since the rest of your bottles have been so good, I decided to trust your judgement and try it out! So glad I did. The picture really doesn’t do it justice. I loved how the eyes stuck to the side of the bottle. I used the same idea with some coloured letter beads so when they stick, my little one can look for different letters. Thanks for a wonderful resource!

  2. How do you prevent the googly eyes from floating on top of the water (because they are filled with air)?

I don’t use water. I use hair gel sometimes corn syrup also aloe vera. Anything thick and goopy 🙂

Do you only fill the bottle 1/4 of the way full? That doesn’t leave too big of a void?

  4. Jennifer says:

Do you really only fill the bottle 1/4 of the way full?
