Hi Familylicious followers, it’s Lauren again! I am so happy to be helping Debra out and writing a review on these wonderful eco-friendly diapers. When Debra handed me the soft and cozy fleece diaper I was so excited, I have heard so many wonderful things about fleece diapers and I finally got to try one out.

LolliDoo™ eco-pockets are wonderful one sized diapers. One sized means that they are adjustable so they can fit a newborn up to a toddler who is potty learning. They are called pockets because there is an opening at the back of the diaper where you can add absorbency. To stuff the pocket LolliDoo™ gave us two hemp inserts that are super soft and help to pull moisture away from your baby’s bottom. Fleece made out of recycled bottles and hemp inserts…. can you get anymore Earth conscious than that?

So I held up the soft diaper that reminds me of my husband’s old college sweatshirt that I love to wear and quickly measured and sized it to fit Ellianna, following the easy directions. A few minutes later and she was good to go!

It was so soft that little Ellie started giggling! Nothing sweeter to a mama’s ears. The diaper was a little bit bulky, but was easily hidden under her dress.

Feeling up to the challenge, forty-five minutes later my little girl decided to really test out the diaper, so I feel that I should share that this diaper is definitely blow out approved. Mama and Ellianna’s clothes were clean and unharmed.

When it was time to launder I just followed the easy care instructions from the website:
Care Instructions
LolliDoo™ recycled fleece fabrics release stains and soil, whether washed in hot or cold…it’s just the nature of the fabric. And laundering in cool water translates to less energy consumption, as the water is straight from the tap, bypassing the one of the biggest energy consumers in our households: the hot water heater. LolliDoo™ diapers CAN withstand the heat of a hot wash, in fact, we do recommend that the first 2-3 times you wash them, you DO wash them in hot water. That’s mostly because the oils that are used to keep manufacturing machinery in working order might leave behind a residue, particularly in cotton, that affects absorbency. An occasional hot wash does some good, too.
Drying
So yeah. We’ve said it several times, but it’s absolutely incredible so we just have to say it again. LolliDoo™ recycled diapers and stuff-ins™ dry insanely fast on the line. We’d like to encourage you to line/air-dry your LolliDoo™ diapers for cost AND environmental savings. You should totally test it. Go ahead, we’ll wait. You’ll be amazed. Because LolliDoo™ recycled fleece diapers are so strong, they’ll stand up to whatever temperature you elect to use to dry your diapers, whether by air or drying appliance. And, again, we do recommend the first 2-3 washes you use hot, particularly those diapers with organic cotton; the cotton shrinks and the various fabrics are designed to work together most effectively AFTER they’ve settled into their intended size.

I highly suggest these diapers, they are a great investment since they will last for as long as your little one will need them. Plus you can register them, which definitely adds a feeling of security.

  11. I learned that if your Lollidoo diaper is still leaking perhaps there is a detergent or mineral residue that needs to be stripped from your diapers.
