Rafflecopter…Yes or No?

I am sure you have all seen the new Rafflecopter application for giveaways. And I am sure you have all entered at least one giveaway using this application my question to you is did you like it? I am considering using it on my blog but I would like to get your input first. I want entering my giveaways to be the easiest for you since you are doing all the work, so what would you like to use? Do you prefer the old comment way or would you like to try out the new Rafflecopter way? It looks pretty cool but I want you guys to be happy and I want my giveaways to be easy and accessible for you. Let me know in a comment here.
Here is an overview of how to enter a Rafflecopter Giveaway incase you haven’t seen Rafflecopter before.

  1. I am sorry to say that I am not a big fan of the rafflecopter. I will do the required instructions for each entry and then it takes sometimes up to three or four entries for the rafflecopter to say that the step has been completed.

  2. Lately I have only been entering giveaways using rafflecopter! It takes a lot less time, so simple and easy! 🙂 I Love it!

  3. Love, love, love Rafflecopter. So easy!

  4. Most of the time, the raffecopter works and then it’s great. I prefer it to going back and forth to the list of entry opportunities.

    I vote for it!

  5. I am a big fan of Rafflecopter – takes much less time and allows me to enter more giveaways! Hopefully I’ll start winning soon! 🙂

  6. Hi,,,now your newest follower via GFC and email..I got Rafflecopter for my blog and it makes hosting giveaways much easier. I LOVE to enter giveaways with Rafflecopter..I would definately recommend getting on their list now…Also, once you are approved through Rafflecopter, they have an affiliate program to review products.

  7. I am going against the grain…I do NOT prefer rafflecopter at all.

  8. Sabrina Radke says:

    YES YES YES please!

  9. I think the Rafflecopter entry is very easy. I haven’t had any trouble with it, always fast entry for me.

  10. Mary Beth Elderton says:

I like Rafflecopter! It is easier and offers the advantage of letting me know whether I have already entered that giveaway.

  11. I’m with Selene. When it works, Rafflecopter is great. It can be slow to load (or not at all) and sometimes you need to click the button for your entry multiple times before it goes through. That can be frustrating (and even slower than the comment method) but if everything is working, it saves a lot of time when it comes to multiple entries.

  12. I was a fan of it from the entrant side before I had any experience with it as the host, and loved it. Now that I have used it to run a giveaway, I love it even more. As with anything, there are ways for people to try to cheat the system, but Rafflecopter makes it easy to find them and pull them out. My Amazon giveaway had almost 5000 entries and it was a breeze!

  13. I’m not a big fan of rafflecopter. It does not work for me most of the time. I get an error message. There are a few of us that rafflecopter does not work for. I personally found it frustrating.

  14. Micah Pearson says:

    1) you should try a different web browser because that shouldn’t be happening.

I only enter rafflecopter giveaways these days. With work it is hard to keep track of giveaways I’ve done and the ones I haven’t. Not only is copter giveaways quicker but it keeps track of if you have already entered them or not.

  15. I absolutely LOVE rafflecopter! Please use it!

  16. I will not enter giveaways without Rafflecopter anymore unless it’s a big prize! LOVE RAFFLECOPTER & Think Every blog should use it!

  17. No question about it….rafflecopter. I absolutely HATE waiting the time WordPress makes you wait between comments. I generally won’t enter giveaways on sites using WordPress because I like to do all the extra entries, but not if it makes me wait repeatedly in between my comments.

    RAFFLECOPTER ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  18. Kimberly Schotz says:

I like Rafflecopter and it seems like it would be easier for you too.

  19. I like the Rafflecopter. I think it’s much faster to enter giveaways.

  20. I too have to admit the raffle copter takes less time to enter, sometimes there are few problems, but alot of them I feel have been worked out. Thanks

  21. Karen Propes says:

LoVe The rafflecopter, sure speeds up the entering process. I have been entering with them for the last 3 months and love It !!!!!

  22. Sally Grubbs says:

I love it and its easy to use. I would say yes.

  23. I do not enter giveaways anymore unless they use Rafflecopter. It is so easy and I have never had a problem with it!

  24. Charlotte Varner says:

Okay my take on the Rafflecopter is this, at first I really thought it was awesome of how easy they were to zoom through everything and I mean it took like 2 minutes to enter. Then whenever I started entering a few more there was alot of problems that occured like not viewing properly, having the fb “like” button that wouldn’t work, and then after entering the whole giveaway showing that I didn’t do some of the entries when I had!! It let me go back and re-enter them after already saying, “Done!” Therefore it probably had me in there for multiple entries causing me to lose but gain extra entries at the same time and not being my fault at all because I didn’t know if they went through or not. I would rather have the old way of doing things even though it takes a little more time it relieves the headache and gives me a chance at possibly winning! I’ve seen blogs where they use both and just mix up things. They do a few Rafflecopter and a few regular for the ones that still like doing regular and don’t know how to do the Rafflecopter. It works out well I think. It’s up to you though and what makes you happy because it’s your blog and whatever works for you.

  25. LOVE rafflecopter. I now pretty much only enter giveaways that use it, makes life so much easier.

  26. Nicole May says:

Yes! I love entering giveaways with Rafflecopter. It’s so quick and easy!

  27. I love rafflecopter. You already get tons of entries into your giveaways but you will probably get even more because its so easy to enter. Also, as a blogger myself, hosting the giveaways with rafflecopter is a breeze. Can’t wait to see what you do.

  28. Hi! I’m your newest follower. I love the Rafflecopter! It’s been so easy entering giveaways that have it.

  29. I’m a fan of the Rafflecopter but only when it’s set up and working properly.
I’ve noticed that on some blogs ALL entry options are green ALL the time, making it difficult to know if you’ve done an entry or not. Very confusing on daily tweets….

  30. I like it. Makes entering very simple and quick.

  31. YES YES YES!!!!! Rafflecopter makes it SO much easier!!

  32. Elaine Lund says:

    Yes to Rafflecopter!
The only downside I have noticed is that sometimes I get ahead of myself and hit “Done” before entering extra info such as Twitter name and there is no way to go back to rectify it.

  33. Samantha C. says:

I cannot stand rafflecopter. It is so confusing with what is mandatory and what to put in the extra info box. And then, some sites have you enter comments at the bottom as part of the contest as well!

  34. I am not a fan of Rafflecopter. I love the old way of entering. I enjoy being able to read the other what the other people say in their comments.

  35. Hey there! I’m a new follower from Not so Moody Monday blog hop. I prefer rafflecoptor. I’d love it if you’d stop by and follow me back. http://agigglesaysitall.blogspot.com/

  36. Love, love, love rafflecopter!!!!! It’s so much easier to see what you’ve done and haven’t done yet and prevents duplicates. Its so easy and quick too! I’m a huge fan already!

  37. I enjoy rafflecopter and think most issues come up if the entries are not set up properly. If the blog owner puts in the proper links and doesn’t require lengthy entry requirements it goes smoothly and entering takes less time. I enjoy when I don’t have to open any additional windows, besides visiting the sponsor’s website. As a blog owner, the process is much easier and choosing winners is simple and efficient.

Be aware, if people do not have cookies enabled they will be asked to redo the mandatory entry on future visits. This is the biggest drawback I have found. Also it makes multiple tweets a day difficult.

  38. I just love it!!!!

  39. As far as the Rafflecopter question… it sure is alot easier to enter the giveaways, BUT: I have yet to win ANYthing from a blog using it! Don’t know if it’s because so many more people enter, or what. And while we are on the topic of giveaways, entries & the like – can I just voice my opinion of the “Twitter” entries?!?!?!? Some blogs allow people to enter giveaways multiple times EVERYDAY via Twitter, some even allow an entry per hour! I think that if a blog wants to end up w/ONLY Twitter followers, then that’s fine…. but I have just about quit following blogs that allow that many entries from a single person! I know that the objective is to increase your followers, but really – everyone doesn’t TWEET! Thanks for allowing me to voice my opinions!!!1

  40. Rafflecopter looks easy enough to me. I say do what every you prefer.
