Sensory Table- Faerie Garden

we started the box with a few empty branches and some Spanish moss
Kaia added her faerie house we had made previously
plus some Rocks, buttons and ribbons

When Kaia was done this is what it looked like
Mikey made his own faerie house
Tying ribbon to the archway
putting in a blanket for the faeries
Kaia adding flowers to the sticks
Ready for the faeries to visit
When Kaia woke up she found that the faeries had indeed visit
She found faeries in the box!
They had brought her gifts
including wings, faerie sparkles and a purse for her faerie dust

When Kaia woke up from her nap she found that the faeries had come to see her faerie garden
They were hiding

We also made a Faerie play area under some bushes in the Garden

  1. Just discovered your site through pinterest- and I LOVE all your sensory box ideas. I want to make a fairy box for my next outdoor one- wondering where you found the little fairies? Also, do you have a family child care, or is it just you and your children? Awesome job with all the activities!

I don’t have a family childcare. This is just activities I do with my children and their friends. The faeries can be purchased at Michaels. They are plastic so they don’t break. I do help out at my daughters Preschool I plan and setup their Imaginary Play.
