I was at the Dollar store and I found some really pretty looking glitter glue that I knew we just had to have.

Hooray for fine motor! Lets strengthen those hand muscles.

So I brought it home and immediately the kids wanted to use it so I came up with a quick and fun project.

I have these finger paint scratchers left over from when I was teaching I think I got them at Lakeshore but that was 10= years ago now. You can use toothpaste caps, or any other small cap that fits on your kiddos fingers to create the same thing

The kids had their choice they could put them on one finger or all ten or even their toes if they wanted. (I was surprised that they didn’t put them on their toes my kids are a bit obsessed with foot exploration)

Kaia chose to put them on all her fingers

Once they were done scraping I gave them each a piece of aluminum foil to tear into small pieces and attach to their glitter glue painting

They each worked hard tearing apart the aluminum foil and placing it in the perfect locations on their paintings

They turned out cute and not to bad for an impromptu painting session!
