The Original Squeeze Company

My children go crazy for smoothies. We have a “Smoothie Party” almost every time we have a play date which is most school days. Recently though my kids have been asking for a smoothie they can take to school with them. So I had to think of how I was going to pack said smoothie and get it to school with them. Well I didn’t have to think very hard about it because The Original Squeeze Company did most of the thinking for me. All we had to do was pick my kids favorite smoothie recipes and scale them to the right size. So here they are.

This is a particular favorite of my boys who love everything chocolate.
Chocolate Strawberry Smoothie

Ingredients:
1 cup milk of your choice (we used coconut milk)
1/2 cup frozen or fresh strawberries
1/4 chocolate chips (we used semi sweet)
1/4 cup kale (optional) I usually sneak this in when the boys aren’t looking
Directions: Put all ingredients in your blender and blend until smooth.

I like to rest the pouches in a measuring cup when I fill them. It leaves me both hands to navigate and fill the containers.

The bottles are so easy to use and to clean I do really prefer the free-flowing spout™ over the sport spout. It is just much easier to clean. And I do look for ease of cleaning in the products I use. Especially in products we use as often as these. My kids will make smoothies at least once a day and sometimes twice if I let them and they always like to use the Original Squeeze pouches when drinking their smoothies.
